MTK brand has been based on a Russian-Italian joint-venture to manufacture acessories and after-market products addressed to AK different generations, old (military-surplus) and news productions such as AKM, AKSU, AK74, AK74M, AK100, AK200, Saiga 12, Saiga 9. All items are mil-spec, designed and manufactured according to original size and tolerances to perfectly fit. Accordingly, they can be fit on original Russian AK as well as AK produced in the ex-Warsaw Treaty including Type-56 (PRC). Such JV is currently frozen in accordance with EU restrictions, all products currently marketed are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy.
